hey
well trying to sus out this flat spot the car has from about 5000 to 6000 but after that moves ok.

Old owner said it was to do with the turbo flowing to much at that RPM for the stock computer and pump
it has been running super rich lately and really guzzling fuel even off boost.
idle sometimes hunts but nothing really bad.

specs are
front mount
boost controller 13psi
HKS2510
full 3 inch exhuast
JJR coil packs
Apexi pod

going to try 02 sensor, new bosch 040

anything else it could be ?
havnt checked plugs yet..

cheers

Plugs or breaking down of spark? Had a problem with plugs fouling on the 26 try gapping them bit closer seemed to help me

its possible def would be worth checking, ive never had it this noticable though even with completely fouled plugs.

My plugs got real bad quick when I was running rich took a wire brush to them and gapped a bit closer and never had another problem. What condition are coil packs in?

Try as you said o2 sensor or plugs would be my uneducated guess

pulled out a plug.. looks mint, if not alittle white so if anything its been running lean. so maybe stock fuel pump isnt cutting it like old owner said..

Reset the computer when you check the plugs and change the o2 sensor. Might be worth resetting it now give it a try anyway.

try winding back the boost, can probably tell you if its a fuel pump or too much boost for the tune issue

abit to dark now but yeh will def will reset the computer..

ill try source a 02 sensor tomorrow, if i install the bosch even though im running stock FPR it should help give it abit more fuel on boost yeh ? like an extra 3-5psi ?

cheers for the help

thing is..the turbo is rather small i dont know exact sizes but it wouldnt be bigger then a R33 i reckon so 13psi really should be a problem on stock computer i would have thought.

have had stock computer with a R33 turbo running 15psi without a worry. but that had an 040 though.
