hey
just purchased a R32 with a HKS2510 on it, its off an SR20 so it has the adaptor to fit. now its running usual shit but has stock computer. so it has a bad ass flat spot at about 5000rpm. like its over fueling hard core.. ive noticed its been guzzling fuel badly lately too so it could be a fukn 02 sensor too.

but anyways
if i buy an aftermarket computer and get it tuned is it worth keeping the 2510? its a rather small turbo and id much rather something larger. but with a tune are they really that bad?

cheers.

i wouldnt spend $ to tune it, i would much prefer something with much less response

how much power are you looking for?
Likely a 2510 would be out of puff around the 200rwkw mark, should be uber responsive though.

Buy another one and run two, that should net you a bit more than 200rwkw.

very small turbo, I had one of these on a 4AGZE (1.6L) and it was perfect for that (250rwhp), even on that it started to run out of puff around 6ish, but on a 2L 6cyl I'd go bigger..

the turbo is too small for a rb20, people normally run them on ca18-sr20 engines because they are super responsive, but the power out put isnt too flash, if anything i would get a gtrs or even a 2530

just to be clear its to suit a SR20 but has the adaptor to change it to a t3 flange and obviouslly dump will prob have to be sold with it.

WOuld be sweet on something like an SR20de+t - would make a very responsive 180rwkw's to 200rwkw's
