Figured i should make up a quick showcase for my current daily/bunky 33 :)
Its a 93 S1 Manual Sedan, which came to me in a bit of a banged up state so over the past 18 months ive slowly been fixing it up.
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v649/49/115/665691579/n665691579_2539702_5387759.jpg
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs107.snc1/5064_96946116579_665691579_2539696_6707774_n.jpg
The old bumper + cracked grill + dented bonnet made way for replacement parts from MrMayhem, and also included a Type M front bar.
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs087.snc1/5064_96946346579_665691579_2539700_2736455_n.jpg
I swapped all the front end over, and a few weeks later had it tinted. After seeing a mates S14 with 18x10 wheels all round on it, got me keen on the idea of wide offset on a jap car. So the hunt begun for some nice wheels to fit under the arches.
Ended up buying a set of Volk TE Progressives from Ash, 19x8.5/9.5 stagger with +25/22 offsets.
The car easily swallowed up 275's in the rear with rolled arches but the lack of concave all round was starting to annoy me
Polished up
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs272.snc1/9931_161585666579_665691579_3347660_3148129_n.jpg
So i trawled the internet for several weeks trying to find a pair of wheels to replace the fronts with and came up with a complete set of 19x9.5 +12's :D
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs272.ash1/19960_306108386579_665691579_4073739_6677387_n.jpg

Few weeks later i had the rims sent to Aaron for some 225/35/19's stretched onto them
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs390.snc3/23787_328923081579_665691579_4149705_1780840_n.jpg
And this is how it now looked with a bit of a clean
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs465.snc3/25524_376935086579_665691579_4373079_2532853_n.jpg
The old REO bar had a slight bend in it which had been bugging me, the bumper wouldnt sit neat under the headlights so another undamaged REO bar was purchased, and a spare standard bumper thrown in so that was put onto the car due to it actually having paint.
The wheels were then removed and 5mm spacers were fitted all round taking them to +7 and got some photos of the car taken.

Still not happy with the front end i went in search of a wrecked 33 GTR, but after realising the small fortune it would cost to get the parts together i settled on a S2 Coupe Front end which was sourced thru MrMayhem. The FMIC was also removed, it will be replaced with a proper Jap setup once money is available.

1.5 + Cusco Sways Terry :)
Would like to get the front end a bit lower, but the coilover is wound fully into the foot, spring is floating with the locking rings 5mm from the bottom. Need to remove one of the lock rings to get anymore drop out of the front.
Rear is limited at present, not keen to mash lip of rim against the arches...
Yeah rat that was me

Mods are coming slowly for it, managed to get some nice italian leather boot surrounds for the handbrake, gearstick and arm rest. The arm rest needs to be glued on so i'll give that to a trimming shop to sort out.
Rob @ Volatile Customs did an awesome job wiring in a new push button imobiliser w/ central locking, cd player, defi gauges & turbo timer and manged to clean up the spiders web of wiring behind the dash.
I also ordered S2 Sedan taillights + garnish from a jap wrecker in the eastern states, the lights fitted perfectly but the garnish doesnt fit due to the bootlock. Still deciding whether to remove the lock and have the garnish smoothed over, or try get a S2 boot lock.
Back in late december/early January i started to email Jesse Streeter in japan with the hopes of getting a "dart izzumi" style exhaust for the car, the one i found appeared to be "china" so he sent off a few emails for me to see what was available. Dart Izzumi no longer exists and the only other option was a Reinhard system.
Placed an order beginning of jan for a semi-titanium cat back system with no muffler and am very happy with the final product. Will fit the exhaust on the weekend and see how it looks.
Photos.

Yeah thats the problem, i was looking on yahoo japan, sent him the link he looked at it and told me it was an "unknown brand" and by the photos it didnt look very "jap" in quality.
This one is titanium from the 1-2 split to the end of the tips. 90mm system (3") to twin 3" to 4"? Tips

Fitted the exhaust on saturday, it doesnt quite fit properly (due to it being for a 2 door) and sadly its melted the exhaust recess in the bumper haha. Josh from metalcraft is modifying it to fit better, so once thats done i'll get some photos. The noise is pretty loud to say the least, at 100kmh it doesnt drone so im happy with it.
I didnt realise the exhaust comes with 2 sets of silencers, the funnel type which sits at the end and a removable muffler with fibre matting wrapped around it which can also be removed.
The car has also been quoted for panel and paint, getting the windscreen forward redone, rear bumper and rear taillights/garnish.
Will be happy to have it looking the correct colours for the first time.

Bit of a small update on the car.
Had a quick google search a few months ago and managed to find some series 2 taillights + garnish in the eastern states. Got it over only to find the centre garnish boot lock didnt fit :(
Got the reinhards fitted onto the car, only to find that they too didnt fit and caused a slight "melting" of the rear bumper. So they were removed, and the existing 4" x-force system fitted back on.
Was starting to get sick of the car looking "shit" and having the assortment of multicoloured panels so i organised a quote and had the car sent off for panel and paint.
Had the passenger fender replaced *due to previous 19's tearing the guard to pieces*, rear lights + garnish painted / front end from windscreen forward / rear bumper / deep badly repaired scratch in rear drivers 1/4 fixed and painted up.
Removed the 5mm slip on spacers for the time being, and sent the exhaust off to Josh @ Metalcraft Marine to have a 10cm section added to it to clear the bumper. I havent got any decent photos of the exhaust on the car yet, but heres a few before / after shots of the car.
More updates are planned, just need to start saving again !

Wanted to do some "sticker bombing" on the car before it got painted, but that never eventuated so Gav @ GT Graphics and myself decided to spruce up the engine bay with a few bits wrapped up. The airbox surround / plug covers are a "sticker bomb" image on a single piece of vinyl.

I saw this at Vastese on Saturday morning. It's certainly one of the better R33's getting around. Needs TE 37 <3 ASAP with those plates though.

Been ages since an update,
Got sick and tired of battling with the summer heat, so i headed down to Bart's workshop in bunbury and grabbed a s1 condensor / lines and pump from a half cut, fitted them into the car and had Joshg123 check the system and re-gas for me. Thanks to shannon (mullmans) & Chris (sfidz) i was also able to grab a good condition LSD from a rear cradle, which Josh installed as well.
I started putting cash aside last year for another set of wheels to finally match the licence plates, had originally thought about 18x11 TE37SL's which came up at a good price, but the idea of stupidly wide wheels turned me off the idea. Settled on a set of 18x9.5 +12 White TE37's + Blue Rays Duralloy Wheelnuts running 235/40/18 rubber all round.
The brakes were getting tired (pretty sure they were the original rotors) so a trip down to bunbury again to see Bart. Picked up a set of DBA 4000 slotted rotors for the front and rear, during the install i cleaned up the calipers and gave them several coats of high temp gloss black & sanded the nissan logo.
Picked up a Nardi Deep Corn + Works Bell boss kit and fitted that, due to the original wheel starting to tear.
Some of you may know James, who came over from NSW with his multicoloured R32 Sedan. His brother needed an RB25 for his R32 and managed to find a complete car for a good price. The upside for me was the car was a 33 S1 M Spec sedan the exact same colour as mine. James sent me a message straight away explaining the car was to be parted out. Since i am keen on the OEM+ look I wanted the bodykit more than anything, we agreed on a price and he had it removed and shipped over to me. The first thing that needed to be done was removing the 20year old double sided tape, cleaning up the cars panels and fitting. Gives it a much nicer look, and isnt a crappy fibreglass kit that will crack if you look at it the wrong way.
Its taken a while, slowly but surely its being turned from the bunky it was, into a fairly clean street car. Here's a few photos from when i got it.

Yeah the boost gauge is just a cheap one i fitted. The car came with a vacuum hose pointing into the drivers face. Positive boost made for a lovely gush of wind up your nose.
Old wheels are sitting in my study, needs new rubber. At least i can chop n change when i feel like it now.
