Hi All,
For sale is my 1990 Ford Maverick 4.2ltr turbo diesel, I am selling the car due to a career change and it is unfortunately no longer practical for me. It is a very good car and I have done a lot of work to the car since I bought it about 6 months ago, so all work is done within 1500-2000kms. The car is registered until June 2011. The car currently has 271,500kms on the clock.
Engine:
Safari turbo kit, (kit had just shy of 20,000kms on the turbo when I bought it. All tested fine)
3” Turbo back exhaust, dumps just before rear axel
Front mount intercooler (also came with the turbo kit)
Brand new water pump and viscous fan coupling (just fitted)
Brand new high pressure power steering hose, (old one had a slight leak and I hate leaks, so I have just put that on as well)
The car was tuned by United Fuel Injections in redcliff after the turbo kit was installed and is running a safe 12psi of boost with 105kw and 342nm.
Oil and filters changed about 1500kms ago.
Suspension:
2” Lift with Lovell extra travel springs
Bilstein extra travel shocks
Tough Dog RTC steering damper
Adjustable heavy duty drag link
New caster correction bushes to re-align the front axle from the lift
New radius arm bushes and rear sway bar bushes
Wheel alignment was done at WA Suspensions after all the suspension was fitted.
The whole suspension is brand new and was fitted about 2000kms ago.
Driveline:
All Oils changed about 1500kms ago, Diffs (rear LSD, front open), transfer box, gearbox
Clutch was changed by previous owner at 190,000kms
Tyres are 31” maxis 750 with about 80% tread, spare is brand new
Everything Else:
20% tints all around
Brand new Uniden UHF UH500sx with antenna.
Brand new Alpine head unit, with all the USB/iPod/iPhone setup
Two 10” thermo fans mounted on the intercooler, which are yet to be wired up.
Complete light conversion, LED interior lights, LED exterior lights, brake/tail, reverse, park lights, and indicators with LED flasher relay for correct operation of indicators. HID 5000k 55w main beam and high beam xenon headlights, with 7” IPF headlight inserts.
Boost Gauge
Body is in good condition with some small rust on the rear left of the roof which has being treated and is safe, so it will not grow any more, and a few dents. Otherwise very good for a 1990 4WD.
