I bought Assassins Creed - Brotherhood & NBA Jam for the PS3 on the weekend.

NBA Jam - Retro re-make of the classic SNES version, 2 v 2 with powerups, jams, turbo boots etc... Awesome game to play when you dont wanna think.

Assassins Creed - Seems good from the 2-3hrs ive played, only 10% thru it so far. Lots of puzzles and a good storyline.

Xbox 360 only - Halo: Reach and started with Black Ops but thought it was terrible so can't be bothered playing it.

There are some massive titles coming out next year which I cant wait for - main ones being Dead Space 2 (first was fucking awesome!!), Duke Nukem, Driver, Max Payne 3 and Fear 3.

Been getting into Black Ops on PC. Just prestiged last night and lost everything, lvl 30 already this morning.
Havent really been fussed with GT5 now that I'm up to the more serious races.
Gave Dead Rising 2 a go, decent game, same as the first really. I love to fuck around but everything is chasing the clock so you can't just go roaming as if it were GTA, which sucks.
Still play Forza 3. Love it. Forza 4 should be fun next year, and Diablo 3 will suck away a lot of time I'm sure.

I'm still stuck WAY in the past!
At least once a week play either BF1942 or BF2 with a couple of mates.
I've got 7 PC's set up in the shop for LANs.

I finally started playing Borderlands last night with 3 mates. Sooo much fun! Still gotta play Red Dead but that's gonna be tough seeing as though i'll probably be playing Borderlands for a while, as well as BFBC2: Vietnam. And i just placed pre orders for Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2 yesterday, which come out on the 20th and 27th of next month.

If anyone here was interested in playing Mass Effect 2, but didn't have an Xbox or decent PC to run it, ps3 is the version to get. Apparently it's running the Mass Effect 3 engine. Score!

RE5, what can i say? Even after clocking close to 100 hours and probably finishing it a dozen times, i'm still keen to go back and have another play through with the ps3 move remote :). Bring on RE6.

pretty awesome story line too ... start off as a runner doing shitty jobs ... you get nabbed and thrown in jail ... have to fight for yourself in jail - pretty cool fight mode too ... then you come out and make it big

So far the consoles look to have a 24 player limit due to xbox live/psn limitations and the processor power required for the frostbite 2 engine

The game is being designed with 64 player maps (which presumedly will scale down like they did for BF2) but even so, the console experience is going to be fairly limited compared to PC.

Think back to BF2 with 6 players or so hanging around at the base waiting for the jets and choppers to spawn... that'll be half your team on the consoles.

I'm thinking i7 950, and 2 x HD5850s should do the trick (I already have one)

Yeah played demo on PS3, it's not bad. Undecided if it's worth buying or not though. I like that it uses the Unreal Engine.... I miss UT.

Great point, i didnt think into the consoles having a 24 player limit, which as you say, would kill the true "BF" style play.

i only have a core2duo, so hmmm ive heard about those dual cpu motherboards 2x hexacores?

Finished ME2 a fortnight ago and then finished KZ2 seeing as I never had and 3 is out now.

picked up AC II last weekend for $38 brand new (at EB) probably about 70-80% through, enjoying it much more than the first which i put down a few hours in and never picked back up!
