PS3 Shit!

Hey guys trying to play GT5 and halfway through a race it freezes but the sound still works and keeps playing but even if i press the home button nothing comes up its just frozen where i was, but as i said yo can still hear the car racing ? Any ideas ?

Might be getting hot, try and make sure it has good ventilation

Happened to me during an online race once 1 week after release. I blame GT5, patches may have fixed it as its never happened again.

yeah mine has frozen once with gt5 also. also sometimes it asks you for an update in the middle of a race - while you cant see your car keeps going!

Well i got a fan on my PS3 and got the shits with GT5 it keeps freezing, tried black OP's now it wont even load a fucking game$#@%#@$^%$#%^$#%^%$

This console is like 5 6 days old >:(

if it is almost brand new just box it up and take it back for a straight swap.

Get it Doa tomorrow. First weeks its a straight swap at where ever you got it from, after that it probably has to go off for a warrenty claim which probably takes a few weeks.
