Hi Guys (& girls), I'm leaving my job and my boss would like me assist him to find my replacement as for favor I know there are few good people in here.

EVH Drill Engineering

Based in Canning Vale, EVH Drill Engineering specializes in mining exploration / geotechnical products ranging from Augers, Drill bits, Custom drill machinery, Subs, Swivels and Gearboxes to serve equipments for blast hole drilling, soil sampling, water well drilling, post hole drilling and right down to minor farming equipment. You will be positioned in W.A's in-house manufacturing and fabrication plant.

Few duties you will undertake (but not limited to):

Designing / drafting products using Autodesk Inventor 3D
Drafting schematics using Auto cad Lt
Job processing and planning, using Triumph package
Manufacturing production floor planning
Updating old files to current standard
Liaise with supplier and colleagues to ensure work completion
Documenting and creating product manuals for clients

What we require from you:

Diploma/advance diploma or higher in Mechanical engineering or CAD
Previous industry experience with no less than 2 years is preferred
Inventor 2010/11 and Auto cad skills is a must
Must NOT be a druggy, this includes smoking pot once in few blue moon (candidates may be subjected to drug/medical test)



Salary/Wage is Negotiable to successful candidate
Starting time is January, so keen as to get someone on training before Christmas. (I'm leaving in 2 weeks)

i seriously doubt it considering the location dude, but sounds like a good starting point given the experience they are chasing.

We all know that big money are in the mines/on site. I'm leaving because Bradken hired me, which is a larger company. As said this job is great for people who has near 2 year experience and you will with small teams of fitters/fabricators/machinist.

Think im going to download inventor and learn it. Sounds like an interesting roll however im only familiar with solids-works and pro engineering

I've migrated from solidworks to inventor. The latest version have quite similar interface.

I've got the Adv. Dip. in Mechanical Engineering but no actual work experience.
That said I'm not an idiot, quite capable of picking up on things without much hesitation. Would I still be considered for this position?
Mainly familiar with AutoCAD and Solidworks but have a copy of Inventor so should be able to get that down without problem.
