I'm looking the path of building my aristo. Stupid I know, but I want a 4 door GT cruiser that can punch on a bit.

1: I am not going to open the motor.
2: I don't require more than 500-550hp

So I've looked at a few options, gt35r, Turbonetics t61, and the t66. But I'm not finding ALOT of info on the net about quality builds with un opened motors.

Flame me niggas.

gt35r .82 or 1.06 you shall be very happy. also budget for histall and valve body.
there is a new gtx35 which is supposed to be more efficent/improved over the gt35r aka 3582r

hope this helps.
should do an high 11 or low 12 on street ruber and keep you happy. budget 5k and should be good with piggyback for budget

*my opinion only

GTX3076R

Same flow as a GT35R with loads better response

You would almost be silly to get anything else

you will need at least 800cc injectors to support that power. just saw someone selling the same setup as im using on my 2J on supraforums. Titan dual entry fuel rail and 1000cc injectors for $800.

T04Z proven / widely used on varying 2J platforms.

GT35R excellent turbo aswell and make easy 500hp.

Jump up on the aristo forums.. Www.jzs147.com.au

35r still be the best to get. Injectors, ecu, 044, cooler, exhaust, stall n shift kit

I run a GT35R with a 1.06 rear, with a 2800-3000 stall and it is very laggy from a standing start but a 4000 stall should fix this I hope.

Sunbears Aristo is perfect I think he runs a gt35r with a .82 rear? With a 4000 stall and it is responsive as fuck and runs 11's on street tyres while being a perfect street car.

any toyo auto, shift kit and 3500 + stall with gtx35r is on a winnah... very quick streeter and very responsive as can be confirmed by alot of chopped pingpingpingpings... hehe...
i wouldnt go less than a 3500 stall as mine use to get to 3100 before it would start to boost up on the line and went like a shower of shit...

.82 rear is bang on imo for thes small cap engines.

as simon said.. you'd be silly to chose a GT35R/T04Z over the new GTX turbo's
