Ben don't think they're rock breakers, think you'll find they're excavator, as a 3000 is a fucking big rock breaker then!
Bit more info i can add to this one, if its who i think it's for, will be a very long term role, as its part of the largest ever mining contract awarded in australian history, and there is a mountain of new gear going up for it..
one big sucking point tho, is last i heard christmas creek was only mid strength piss, as things got a bit out of control with some people there..
but other than that its a good setup down there..

yeah man ... most of the Gorgon Project is Mid Strength and 4 beers limit.
Shouldn’t really be a factor in deciding where you want a job though ... even more so if it is then it’s a great way of us to separate the bludgers from the guys that wont to work.

is there any truth to rumours that xmas creek will be switching to 2weeks on 2 weeks off next year sometime?
My best mates fiance just started up there as a welder / boilermaker. He is loving it :)

Just started here this week. Camp rooms are OK, Food is AWESOME. Site seems OK thus far. NRW's contract is up for review at the end of the financial year, Downer EDI have already been awarded a 6 year contract but will not have the manpower or machines to carry out what needs to be done so NRW will still be here for the foreseeable future. Xmas Creek is only mid strength due to all the construction crew up here at the moment because they are the dickheads that spoil it for everyone (most of the time). Alledgedly the new permanent camp will have a full strength bar but not quoting that yet. New camp online next year will be resort style (still motelling) and will be 2 story so that'll be ummmmm interesting.
If you have any specific questions Ben can't answer shoot me a PM, BUT ASK BEN FIRST IT'S HIS JOB TO WORK HARD FOR HIS MONEY :) lol
