Not for generic chit chat, we can use other threads for that. But If you have entered in the 2012 Cannonball put details in here.

Car Entered: VY SS UTE (VE SSV as backup)
Appoximate RWHP: 550~600 (engine currently waiting to go back in)
Willing to Drive back after event: Yes (Roadtrip!)
Interested in RAC track day for driver/co-drivers: Yes
Passanger Seats Available: No
Car Number: None as yet/dont care.

Was also thinking / wondering if at some stage closer to the event it would be worth organising a day at the RAC track to get the co-drivers comfortable with driving the car? (I want to make sure my chosen co-driver has some experiance with how my car handles, I want it coming back in 1 peice.)

So its Feb 2012 and this thread is pretty much dead - I assume that this event didn't go ahead or is that underground that nobody speaks of it and given that it is supposed to start tomorrow out of QLD.

it was 1k but yes. they could definetly do the right thing and send my money back if they dont go ahead at all.

But i guess they could play the terms and conditions card.

i only pulled out because of the payment needed to be done before the feb event. which was suppose to start today.

kinda glad i didnt, or i could be out of pocket 10k.

$10k covers meals, accommodation, flights & entry fee i believe. Everything costs money... If there wasn't a profit to be made, it wouldn't be happening.
