Hey guys,
any recommendations where to get head work done?
im looking for port, polish and 3 angle valve job
What are the prices?
this is for a Honda b18CR Head DOHC 16 Valves

Ron Bells in Mandurah, I think prices for a basic port/polish were $200-300 last time I checked?
I'll be down there before the end of the month with my spare head finally.

Wouldnt bother doing it on a type-R motor, depending on year they are either hand or CNC ported from the factory

depends how much work is being done and how busy the shop is. could be a couple of days to a couple of weeks

+1, goes for most modern 16v twincams imo
get titanium valves instead ;)

whilst most modern castings and heads are pretty good, there is room for improvement with most.
The B18CR is a very different animal though, only worth porting further if doing serious modifications.

the plan is going "all out".. :)
might not as powerful as modern days k20..
but should be good fun..
