Hey guys and gals,

OK, ive got funds to start doing some shit to my car, im getting megz to repair my rims and paint them, now looking to spruce up the body and get an exhaust system on to tide me over to till turbo blesses the beast.

I think i have sourced a front bar but im wanting to know the best place to get the side skirts and rear bumper skirts (to attach to my current bumper)..

Also where would be a good place to go for a Scooby exhaust, i just want a nice note out of my 2.2L Boxer engine, nothing loud or over the top, and no big cannon, just a nice exhaust system which helps the engine breath also.. Cheaper is better because i dont want to waste to much money on the NA setup but sound is top priority so dont mind spending money if needs be..

Thanks for your help
Cheers
Rick

Any of the 3 major Subaru shops...Race Torque, Maximum Motorsport, or Revlimit Motorsport, do awesome exhausts..

BUT, if its just an NA engine, and you want to do an inexpensive exhaust, dont look at the above places...they really only work with 3" stainless.

Any exhaust shop should be able to do a mild steel 2.5" for your car..

A few of my mates have gotten Quickfit Balcatta to do mild 2.5" systems in the past, and they've been pretty good..

call me crazy but isn't it a total waste of money to go buy an exhaust for an n/a if its going to be converted to turbo? Why not save that money for turbo instead?

Well if it is only >500 bucks it will add a little value to a car and chances are if i do decide to get a wrx engine i will sell my na and buy proper wrx hatch because i have to look at resale, and na to turbo conversions dont go down to well with people or insurance companies. Plus it will be awhile till i can afford it so i need something to tide me over..

If i was saving up for one i wouldnt be doing stuff all, but im undecided at the moment so getting my car looking and sound good is important for resale...

All i need now, i think, is sideskirts as everything else is organised..

Cheers
