just changed them, ran the car for 10 mins, ran the coolant back through, turned off again checked oil levels no leaks, ran again let heat build a bit, took off 50m down the road hit liek 3500rpm boost came on to 8psi which is stock and boom, wouldnt rev out and wouldnt go over 20km. got back to garage, was just letting it iddle, looking for smoke or leaks, was pumping out black smoke from exhaust, idle started to realy die then a like metal clapp noise, engine stopped. pulled front turbo housing off and the front wheel is siezed cant budge it.

any theories, suggestions, solutions?

thanks deevo

left the oil line bit lose and cranked it watched some oil run throught then tightend it up.

had it set to 10-12 psi had a boost spike i pressum as the shafts are really wobbly,

black smoke is un burnt petrol
white/grey smoke is oil being burnt

hmm well yeh not sure lol. the wheels are definately siezed and can be spun by hand,

and and car barely starts now like kicks over then dies,

if the car will not turn over, it could be a couple of reasons.

1. battery is flat
2. part of the turbo, loose bolt, nut stuck in engine.

Props for trying to do all this yourself but in might be time for an expert.

siezed turbos wont cause an engine to stop operating, sounds like you were driving with no oil pressure, siezed the turbos and mainbearings up too

check if the engine still cranks over by hand and take notice to how smooth it is or if it feels like its grinding

I agree, a siezed turbo will make the car perform very badly but wont make a metal clapping noise at idle and make the engine stall

I also think you have bigger issues....

If it sounds like a helicopter the master mains may have spun. I've blown up a couple sets of GT-R turbos, normally sounds like a chainsaw coming on boost.
