Thats one quick charger. :) Best thing i like about it is there is nothing sticking out the bonnet like a big charger or air filters like you see on most drag cars which make them look worked. Factory look with drag set up shows it's got grunt. Well built indeed

When you consider theres no boost off the line , this is his 'small' motor and it is running low boost its potentially a 7 second street driven car.

Seriously where are all these tuff as fuck WA cars coming from?
That's amazing, I love the fact you could throw some normal wheels on it and take it to the shops, not alot to give it away.

If you can call WARHAWK street driven, then this certainly is too. Seen it on the street many times.
Obviously not a daily driver, but, certainly no show/dyno pony.

I've seen this driven on the street numerous times, providing it's off boost it's pretty sedate moving, not overally loud or anything. She has a massive methanol tank in the boot so can make a pretty decent journey. He runs it on meth on the street so it has no heating issues, if you watch his videos you hear him talking about not even switching his engine fans on.
I can see this going much quicker than 8.7 in the future once he puts 30psi into it...

When the WARHAWK owner was asked what 1000rwhp on the street felt like he said he didn't know because it only made that power for the dyno and on the street he uses a different pulley...
So yes it is a dyno pony!

Lol, think you're missing the point.
The Faraone charger isn't sunning slicks and chute on the street either. I'm not suggesting these cars are running big boost on the street at all. But they are both street driven vehicles. Whether that be on a 700hp tune, 800hp tune, whatever. To me, that isn't a dyno queen.
Doubt you, or most other people on here would run 26psi boost on a day-to-day basis.

What's wrong with running a little less boost on the street? 1000rwhp is ridiculous for the street, and just because you have it, I can guarantee very few people actually use it.
I don't know a lot of people who would rock up to a dyno competition competing at the elite end and not try to screw every last pony out of the combo. But if WARHAWK can back it up with 700-800 on the street and it starts first time every time, that's a street driven car to me. I don't think any less of the car because he doesn't cruise around with a pulley to net more boost, he wouldn't use the 1000 anyway.
Same as this old lunchbox throws around 2000 odd hp, doesn't mean you'll see him grabbing top on the freeway and laying 1km strips.. It's generally an awe-inspired moment just to see such an amazingly engineered car that could lay 1km strips cruising around on our streets.
But there is a huge difference between daily driven and street driven, and I've argued with people over this before. Just because these cars are driven on the street, doesn't always mean they are as easy to get on the road and cruise around in as your little daily excel. I'm sure there's a bit more planning and procedure to it than that - as you'd expect.

Maybe when you have 1000rwhp instead of 399rwhp you'll come to realise that it's a little excessive for the street :) It's idiotic to insist that an owner of a 1000rwhp car use all that power around the street to begin with. Because these engines are just factory stock motors with some bolt ons and heaps of boost screwed in. Cheap to replace!

Well, from my experience, I ran an EBC on the datto. Usually run around 12psi on the street, and could crank to 25psi if needed. I don't need big boost to run to the shops, or to go for a blat down the coast. Does that make it a dyno queen?
I've driven 700+hp cars on the street, and I can honestly say - it gets to a point where it doesn't matter how much more hp you have...You don't go any faster.

I didn't say it was not a street car... But if it is a street car it's not a street car making 1000rwhp! Also if you squeeze extra power out of a motor just to make a number on a dyno then that is pretty much the definition of a dyno pony!

Good one... My last car made over 100rwhp than your car with a built motor and ran more boost then my current car! Also it's also only excessive when you put it in a chassis that can't handle it :)

I disagree. A dyno pony is a car that never sees the street. It is trailered everywhere and competes in dyno comps only. Certainly not the sort of car you'd see driving around on the street from time to time.
LOL coooool brah, 570 not does a 1000 make. Are you seriously trying to compare the two? Hero status on the back of 399hp mode achieved! Will decimate all, can chop 2000hp lunchboxes, run max boost 150% of time, drive hard from A to B, fear no cops!
The difference between your 399 and my 470 is that I'm not acting all puffed out chest comparing myself to anything possible and spitting on any other build currently in Australia as if mine is superior to it.

By your definition WARHAWK at 1000rwhp never does see the street... It is driven to a dyno comp and then is mechanically changed to run a number! No where am I saying it's not a super impressive car making excessive hp.
Sorry, I was referring to your comment "Because these engines are just factory stock motors with some bolt ons and heaps of boost screwed in. Cheap to replace!" regarding my GTR's motor not comparing the power to 1000rwhp...
LOL, you can not be serious... What build have i spat on? Do you even know me... My "puffed out chest" is me having a laugh with Brockas! I think the Charger was probably my favorite car at Powercruise and I am in awe of WARHAWK's build quality and dyno power, stop assuming I'm arguing things I'm not!

You ragging on other GTR HP numbers is one example off the top of my head, even though the other combo was running less boost anyway.
As for my definition of WARHAWK, I'm only basing that on your "facts" that the owner always changes the pulley to adjust his boost for the street. It is still a car that competes in dyno competitions, and drives on the street, save for a blower pulley? OH NOES!
It seems to me like you're trying to take a lot away from these cars as if you think you own the world's best ride. Forgive me if you think I've taken what you've said or how you are coming across as out of context but I call it as I see it.

Wasn't ragging the GTR, I have actually had many discussion with him on SAU about his build... His "combo" is pretty much identical to my GTR in every way so how the hell can I rag him about anything? And poopoos GTR made a extra 60rwhp on top of mine with nearly the same combo... Am I now ragging on my old GTR?
Well I'm only basing on what the owner said, we were having a conversation about how it would just blow off tyres on the street and then the guy said over the PA that it doesn't drive with that power on the street. We have a difference in opinion in what a dyno queen is... Who cares, you! and now you're trying to make it personal about me?
My car is the biggest slapped together bunky build you will find so I don't know where you get that impression! I didn't even bring my car (or past cars) into the conversation... You did!

My definition of a real street car is one you can fill up at the pump and Ive always thought of using different fuels you need to mix up at the workshop/track as a form of 'dyno queening' but I guess its like you say 'street car' is just a term that means different things to different people.

No we haven't met, but this is a medium where people can learn things about other people, like how I learnt Brockas has big arms, or how Mitchy loves 10k wheels.. From what I've been reading, it was coming across like you were putting these cars down with your terminology of them being dyno queens - which is fine, because it is a disrespectful thing to say in MY terminology, but not yours..
Given that, and what I thought was a rude comment regarding another GTR on here, it seemed to me like you were trying to big note your own car as if nothing can come close. We've all seen a bit of that with the Brockas drag race debacle (though it was a joke). It's not hard to see where it all went wrong, I hope you won't hold it against me, hopefully one day we can be really good mates and you'll help me put an RB20 in my SS :D xx

Well said... I don't actually think being a dyno queen is that bad! If you built a car to make a lot of hp on a dyno and it does, good for you!!! If you build a drag car and it goes fast down the 1/4, good for you!!! Personally I think both are fairly boring things to do with a car :)
Yeah wasn't meant to be rude about Johnny's GTR which is why in the next post I wrote I didn't mean to offend because I realized it may have come across the wrong way. I don't hold anything against anyone :) I'm sitting here as usual with a huge smile on my face (everyone will attest to this)
