Ok so got this bonnet and need to remove the old vinyl off it.
I what the hell has happend to it but vinyl is all cracked etc. Ive tryed to use metho (didnt help much) turps (little more helpful) and hair dryer which was ok but if I had some sort of scraper it would of came off better (not keen to damage bonnet)
Any other ideas?

A heat gun on low heat does the job on regular vinyl but unfortunately yours is totally screwed. Good luck...

The Wurth pinstripe removal tool would be perfect for this. But to buy one is about $500. They are a pneumatic driven tool so you will need a compressor too. Your best bet would be to find a paint and panel shop that has one. Alternatively, I would persist with the heat gun and a razor blade. Shit vinyl is shit. Always insist on high quality vinyl.

Thanks man. I will see what I can do!
There's another tool called a Lil Chisler.
Looks like this:

Perfect for removing crap vinyl because it doesn't scratch the paint like a razor scraper will. It does take a while, and the adhesive will still be left behind, but then a good citrus-based glue remover will help your cause.
Robayne in Welshpool sell them.
