View Full Version : 13th - Kwinana Freeway Closed

FYO: for those who havent left work yet.

For all of you who live south of the city please be aware that the Kwinana Freeway Southbound from Mill Point Road is closed due to a burst water main. Alternate routes are Mill Point Road to Stirling Highway or Graham Farmer Freeway to Orrong Rd. William St has also been brought down to 1lane due to traffic, and there is a acident on the causeway. Take Care!

This thread can be deleted tomorrow :)

aparently the wash out is quite bad and has screwed up the road so i wouldn't count on things being back to normal by tommorow

just went down there. it looks like the bridge is closed from the city end to everything except busses. didn't see any cars going over the bridge.

and yeah i've heard that the freeway has sunk itself a bit so i'd say its going to be closed for a few days

I just drove from mill point road exit down to farrington road exit. No problems going south. Had one land closed with the other two open and a shite load of road works going on.

Road felt fine to drive on and there was no traffic at all.

Drove on it at 9.30pm. Hopefully people still think its closed... so much less traffic. :)

wot you guys crying about i got stuck for 4 1/2 hours doin a tow cause of that bridge now i really do hate SOR on a bright note the wombat i was towing was pissing me off but cause me were so late he got stuck at his office with a flat phone and no company car and he lived in kwinana and it was 9 pm and he had to try and get home so i just drove off teach him for pissin me off
