Posting for my old boss. Not a bad gig especially if you live in the Malaga area. Parking available in a carpark in front of the depot. Boss drives a VE SS and loves his cars (and bourbans) too.
Must be presentable (facial hair OK, but kept neat/shaven, shirt ironed etc) and on time for start of each day. Shirts provided, you need to supply black shorts/pants and steel capped boots.
Opportunity for someone with a current MR (minimum) or HR licence (desired) to begin F/T after a 3 month permanent casual probationary period (if not 40hrs a week at least very close). I averaged 44hrs per week.
You will be required to deliver 1 and 2 door fridges to bottleshops and hotels, deliver hospital beds, deliver photocopiers and other sensitive electrical equipment as required. Trucks are 2x Isuzu 6 speed synchro (just like a manual car transmission) both are tail lift trucks and are kept in very good standards of repair. Heavy lifting (up to 40kg?? Large desktop all in one copier/fax systems) at times is required but lifting equipment is available in each truck for stairs (motorised electric stairwalker). Basically if you are strong enough to push a large photocopier over carpet you will be OK. Not exactly a huge workout but does require some strength.
Previous experience preferred but not essential as full on-the-job training is provided. A sound knowledge of areas of Perth from Clarkson to Rockingham to Mundaring will be required or a GPS will get you through like it did for me :) Usual start time is anywhere between 6:30am and 7:30am and back to the depot by 4pm almost everyday. Pay rate to be negotiated prior to commencement, but it is better than other companies such as SCT, Linfox etc.
