On Hot Rod Magazine's Drag Week 2010, After driving the car 1200 miles during the week on the final pass, Larry Larson runs the first 6 second pass at Drag Week in his '66 Chevy Nova.

Nothing about it is a 'street car'. It's a drag car that can be street driven.

Its licensed and registered in the US, It drove 1200 miles in 1 week on the street with no support vehicle and then ran a 6.

Who gives a fuck if its tubbed, it's allowed on the street and I want it!



DRAG WEEK(tm) VI OFFICIAL RULES

THE BASICS

The event is open to four-wheeled vehicles of any year, make, or model. Motorcycle-based vehicles are not allowed.

Current license, registration, and proof of insurance are required. No dealer plates allowed. No rental cars allowed.

Vehicles in competition must have functional headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horns, and a rearview mirror. Headlights must be of OE-type design.

All vehicles must meet NHRA safety rules for the e.t. and speed they are capable of, and drivers must be IHRA or NHRA licensed if required. Drag Week(tm) officials will not accept timeslips that are quicker or faster than the car's tech'd legal e.t. and mph. Running quicker than the safety equipment allows is cause for disqualification at the discretion of the race director.

Vehicles with rule variations may be classified at the race director's discretion.
Any type of fuel may be used. Race gas may be purchased at the dragstrips, though HOT ROD is not responsible for availability.

there is shitloads of cars that run quicker than 209KM/H also the record for 1/8th mile racing is 210MPH , with also a bunch of other racers over 200 MPH for the 1/8th , so its not bad that this dude is even doing it in the full quarter, anything over 200MPH is fuckn fast
