On the 8th of September Peter Brock lost his life while competing in the Targa West Rally. To a legend who shaped the Australian motorsport scene for decades, RIP 4 years on.

Not often I comment in these threads, but RIP to a true champion of Australian motorsport. A man whose name and legend will never be forgotten.

I was there in the service park 4 years ago for Targa. I will never forget the amount of emotion that poured out of so many people there that day. I remember feeling physically sick in my stomach. Just such an unbelievable shock. RIP.

RIP Peter Brock 05

I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Brock in Westfield Carousel whilst signing memorabilia shook his hand and asked him if he was going to race at Bathurst that year (retired from full time V8 racing)
He looked at me gave me a wink and a smile and said nothing!!

I will never forget that moment :(

Also lucky enough to meet him and had him sign the glove box of my SLR torry which I proudly showed anyone who got in the car.
