I have a question for a plumber if there is one on the forum.

I had a burst water pipe in my laundry of my rental house. The real estate agent is asking me if my plumber filled out a leakage allowance form.

I spoke to my plumber and he said you can only do that if the burst pipe was outside the home.

Is this true?

yes i believe so as if it leaks in your house its identified quickly

Ah ok cool yeah the tenants weren't home at the time and it flooded the entire house.
