The 6sp Hollinger does sound the best option..
Why not do what we did in the Moffat Rx7 fitted with the 6sp 'cheater' box and run a 1st gear lockout to make it a 5sp?
Then you get the benefit of a 6sp for all other events you use the car for.

The sequential change option is not permitted in Clubsprint. Running a 6 speed isn't an issue and neither's having an old style H-pattern Hollinger 6 speed, just the sequential shift pattern which honestly makes no sense to me but those are the rules. Let's face it if you're going to be forking out $25k for a box and the bits to go with it you may as well get the sequential. Open Class allows sequential's and proper aero but for now it's all a bit of a moot point as I've not got the $$$ to finish it off as it is let alone dropping more cash on gearboxes & more bespoke aero bits. I'm sure Mike & co at LF will be able to point me in the right direction when the time comes...
How is the Moffat car doing, I've not seen it since it left the workshop ?

43 is still sleeping.. Not sure what the plan is next.
I thought you might have been talking about an older style H pattern box - ex V8SC spec.. Agree if you were buying new you'd be mad not to go sequential.

43 needs to be woken up and made to clear it's lungs ! The day Kim & Ian were running it on the dyno I just sat there for ages on a crate and listened to it make sweet sweet music.
I think you, me, Tones, Huggy and Darkside all need to hit the track together one day and have a mini brapfest !

Nothing of any note to post. The FD is largely on hold again as I've got some other things I'd rather do with my sadly limited resources.

I admire the thought and humor that went in to this video however it appears the pot is using viral internet videos to call the kettle black here.

Sshhhh now.
You have much more pressing things to attend to like translating emails in to Japanese for Ando-San to reply to in broken Japlish with requests for more Yen and/or pachinko balls and buying a dog.

LFXX has come out to play a few times now in a haze of it's own E85 & premix voodoo. (Just ask JME's neighbours about it.)
Meanwhile the Braptism appears to be as extinct as the dardy dinosaur plastered across the back of it.
Won't somebody think about the Braptism :(

Full credit to Ash Westwood for the sexy pics, Gavin Toomanychilds @ GT Graphics for the RW livery and assorted other promo gubbins, Michael Gileno for laying down a beautiful crisp paint job and most importantly the team at LF Performance and the others who've helped along the way for building what's been and continues to be an evolving interpretation of what my ideal Clubsprint FD3S should be.
Next time it goes on excursion for happy snaps it won't be at B-Reg ride height or missing it's aero bits !
The full highlight gallery from the trip to RW17 land will be released fully in due course via Racewars social media accounts. It's well worth a look.

clearly some one did some skids, im guessing the older cars since the marks are so skinny.

The metal bumper guys had some issues deploying the jandal but Huggy is correct. The RW where big skids were a thing is not what we want to bring to Albany.
Even I'm on a burnout ban.

Makes sense to me, Racewars is not a burnout event, if your spinning tyres your loosing time/speed.
Ain't nobody got time for dat!

dont wanna upset this council
You never really notice how small a car it is until its next to jme's m3 which isnt a huge car itself. Loving the paint/wrapping, any cashed up takers for wrapping a 32 in racing team

Damo did a dardy deal to wrap his in the HKS livery then back pedaled. He requires further pressure to make it happen.
