i want to mod my clubsport up make it a bit quicker
what do u suggest ive heard
cam and chip
extractors and exhaust
what about a supercharger is it hard to install or cost much
any thoughts

An RB26DETT swap would do it.Sorry just joking, Chipmaster is the guy to see for your car if you want a blower or we can go better and fit Turbos to it.

Or you could go see Active automotive for 1 of their turbocharger kits 400rwhp on stock internals

All depends on your budget

Head/Cam combo's will get nice gains along with a Memcal

Or alternatively take a look at your diff gearing if you have an auto, largest acceleration mod you will notice. If its manual i think it comes with 3.45's anyway.
If its auto price up some 3.7's or 3.9's but try not to go over 4 or you'll lose driveability/economy.
Also maybe take a look at a good intake manifold (C.O.M.E or HARROP) tunnel ram styles with large throttle bodies. Then get a even lumpier cam and chip to suit those, with the diff gearing as well, it'll really start to move off the line.

yeh get rid of the bunch of banana's manifold and put in a decent aftermarket item.

Advantage with your engine is that there are 1000's of parts for them and just as many articles about them

what do you have to spend? $$$???

so many options.
go this first if you dont have any mods:
extractors, full exhaust (maybe twin 2.5" mandrel) if not single 3" and some sort of air filter/cold air induction upgrade.

I found it cost me way more to make my old VL V8 go quicker than it did to make my slightly modded 180sx pull a low 13.. :)
I went down the wrong track.. did different mods first.. like in stages.. did stage 1 was fairly happy with exhaust etc.. cam upgrade and small high stall 2400rpms, and single 2.5" exhaust pulled around 160rwkw. Then stage 2 i went and bought some highly ported heads and bigger cam, new inlet manifold, new high stall of 3500rpms with new twin 2.5" mandrel system pulled around 200-220rwkw.
Pretty pleased I stopped at that and never went down the path of a full rebuild with 355-383 stroker etc..

Really i should of done the bigger mods 1st would of saved me a shitload, but then again maybe i should of saved for longer and bought the 180sx..

my engines bloody rooted my mechanic reckon its something about pinging and kncoing in the bottom end what is that shit i need a rebuild apparently fuck i dont know about these cars

what other engine can i put in for it
