SOARER LANE - Whoop Ass Wednesday 11th May

one of the guys from the ALSC forums has organised a soarer lane for Whoop Ass Wednesday on May 11th. (http://www.alsc.aus.as/messages/180/42402.html?1115017618)

Racing starts at 6pm, and at this stage, we're open to any expressions of ineterest from any guys with soarers (old school & new school) who are interested in coming down and having a race. even if you've not been to the drags before, feel free to come down, this is more just about getting all of us guys in perth with soarers together so we can meet & talk ****.

reply showing your interest here by May 7 (saturday), and i'll notify the ALSC of how any we've ended up with.

and if you've not logged on to the ALSC (aussie lexus soarer club), jump on, there's heaps of info for these great cars, and everyone's really helpful.

dont know what kind of improvement i will get, but everyone raves about them. should give me a bit more top end, maybe a tenth or so better.

Cant view the pics cause im at fully sick work, but i think i know the ones and although i havent seen them in person i know they are quality, very quality and afaik those have a pretty trick independant wastegate design, and are longer too, which would probably explain the price tag, oh and they are a exclusive fit to JZZ30 soarers so make it your primary option.

Got my car back from a service today and i found out i broke an engine mount at drag combat which needs to be repaired.
Im pretty sure all those burnouts and launching at 3k aren't too friendly on engine mounts....

This sounds like it has been recieved really well by the whole soarer community. Ran into a guy called Ian at Daves shop today, asked me if i was coming down on wednesday....

Tell us how it goes, and we'll organizing another one in a couple of months which i'll make sure im at....

Oh by the way, we will organize a soarer cruise for the 28th of may.

the dumps on this forum look pretty spaghettish and restrictive for the rear turbo and the lew radbourne ones dont make power.
havent seen anything on the sydney ones but ians brother has the best design i've seen yet and was dyno proven to be flow +++

Drags on this Sunday June 19, when you get scrutineered just say you're in the Soarer club and they'll give you the right lane. Might be sharing a lane as HSV, FPV and Vtec clubs are also going.
