"Would I like to fight Brock Lesnar? Absolutely," Green said after yesterday's weigh-in. "Obviously my only focus right now is Paul Briggs, but I'm professional enough to also have one eye on the future, and to fight the baddest man on the planet, yeah, that excites me.

The man has a death wish.

Lesna would just flick green and knock the dumb pingpingpingping out

as much as i would love to see Lesna squash greens head like a bug it wont happen. Green is a nobody outside of australia no matter how many has beens he fights and Lesna wouldnt waste his time to reply to such stupid requests from green let alone step in the cage.

Would love to see it. No doubt Lesnar would win, he's got 40kgs on Green, but would be a sight to see.

Just need some people to heckle Lesnar and remind him he was in the WWE.

You would think Green needs to prove himself in the MMA world to instantly go out and fight someone like Lesnar?

You would think Green needs to prove himself in the MMA world to instantly go out and fight someone like Lesnar?

If it happens, which is unlikely but who knows, It'll have to be a stand up fight.

If anyone has seen Lesnar fight you'd know that his stand up is'nt his strong point, and that he quickly takes things to ground once he starts taking a few hits. There his size, strength and weight become very apparent.

Would like to see the fight for sure. I think Green would get a few hits in, but all it would take from Lesar is 1 solid hit and Green wouldn't be able to regain his composure.... fight over.

If you read the article Green says it would have to be a stand up fight, Green would get made piss!

Green must think hes hard cos he used to be a kick boxer ... idiot ... calling out a bloke thats 40kg bigger and still pretty fucking quick for his size ... and could bench press 4 Danny Greens

What a meathead. Thats like mark webber challenging valntino rossi to a forumla one race.

Lonewolf

yeah, he'd cop a beating based on the size difference alone.
If they were the same size, green probably has better boxing skills as thats all he's trained for over the years.

You mean Moto GP right?

lol no, he meant that green challenging lesnar would be similar to webber challenging rossi, in the sense that it would be a fight/battle/race outside of the challengee's expertise.

I don't see this happening as much as i would like it to. Lesnar would no doubt make him piss, wold be good for a laugh.

Size difference alone means they're not even in the same class. Result is too predictible......

Not that many of you blokes wouldn't want to see it live ;)

No, because Webber is challenging Rossi. Green is challenging for a stand up fight, e.g. what he is good at. So would Webber.

Green challenging Lesnar to a boxing match is like Webber challenging Rossi to f1.

still pretty fucking quick for his size ...

To say the very least.

Lesnar Vs Mir V2.... Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

The pre-medically complicated Lesnar would consume Green via Osmosis... like a fucking black hole. Lesnar's sheer will would see that Green ceases to exist on the spot.

I wasn't surprised hearing this yesterday. It would never happen, unless green was accepted into the UFC!

But Green is smart, must have a great publicist...

It really depends what ring they hop into..... if it's a boxing match it would be a decent fight, if it was the octagon i think that Lesnar would dominate however green can take a punch, i doubt he would get 1 hit very much so.

Careful what you ask for it may happen yet, rossi cant take too many more crashes in MotoGP so to keep racing a switch to 4 wheels maybe on the cards in the future.

LOL decent fight, lesnar is a monster! He has 40 odd kgs on green, longer reach, can probably throw punches with twice the power, he's quick for his size and he can take a beating.. Would love to see it but it wouldn't happen.

I think his comments of late are just out of sheer frustration that no one decent is presenting a challenge.

I think his comments of late are just out of sheer frustration that no one decent is presenting a challenge.then he should stop complaining and do something about it.

either add a few kg or lose a few to go into a different division then he will have heaps of competitors to have great fights with. anyone with half a brain can see the division he is in has no one in it to even bother with....maybe his team need to do advise him of this

(not having a go at you Butcher)

Green should probably start by trying to line up a fight with Steve Cunningham or Marco Huck. I know nothing about them but according to wikipedia they also hold cruiserweight belts in better sanctioned organisations. Mind you if he got the fight most people would probably go "who the fuck..." and Danny would be worried about the potential for $$

Personally i'd like to see Green take on Butterbean Esch since he is trying to take on hasbeens/freaks...
