And that the reply to emails the keyboard short cut is Ctrl-R instead of the old Alt-R :(.

Fantastic advanced features with outlook 2010.
Open up contacts to maps, offline use etc.
All clients who have upgraded from 2007 to 2010 haven't complained & its often free.

Was running it on release day of the Beta, have 2010 Professional installed now hooked up to Exchange 2010, runs fine no issues whatsoever, appears to be pretty stable. The facebook addon tool for 2010 appears to actually be useful so far as you can actually add your facebook contacts into your Outlook contacts etc. Can only see status updates and shit and can't actually update anything from there yourself, still have to do it from the site, but it's handy.
My gripe: what the FUCK were the microsoft pingpingpingpings thinking when they went and re-designed the fucking menu bars and where everything was going to sit? Takes people forever to find the fucking options tab and simple shit like that now, they should NEVER have deviated away from the menu setup that was used in Office 2003.

Ditto.
I had Office 2010 x64 at home; uninstalled it and went back to 2007. As-yet, 2010 does not support Windows Mobile synchronisation, so you can't sync your phone contacts to Outlook and visa-versa.
I had 2007 on the PC, and everything worked smooth - installed 2010 and I lost the new mail notification events (yellow envelope in the tray, the sound alert, desktop alerts, everything - and yes I know they changed the alert icon in 2010). Tried everything in the book to get any form of notification back with no results. Rolled back to 2007 for different reasons, to find that it no longer works in 2007 either.
I'm sure 2010 is great and all, but my experience was short-lived due to incompatibility issues that still haven't been fixed, even after beta testing.

I got used to it and like it, but there's plugins for those who want to go back like this

Believe there is actually a setting there somewhere for a "classic menu" appearance aswel, however I havn't looked for it yet heh. I don't mind the current setup now that I've gotten used to it.
let me know if u find this classic menu thing..,

Would appear that it's a 3rd party download. Just do a google search for Classic View Office 2010 and there's a few listed, havn't tried any of them myself though
