A seemingly healthy young UK woman died of a heart attack triggered by heightened sexual arousal while she was watching a pornographic movie.
Nicola Paginton, 30, was found dead in her bed in October last year with a vibrator beside her and a pornographic movie playing on her laptop, The Sun reported.
The child's nanny had suffered a fainting episode in 2007 but pathologist Dr Richard Jones said Ms Paginton appeared to be "fit and well" before her sudden death.
"There is nothing in the heart which I can find to explain why Nicola died suddenly," he said.
"But I suspect it does represent a sudden cardiac arrest — In Nicola’s case there is another potential trigger and that is an increase in heart rate or blood pressure because of physical and emotional arousal."
Paginton was discovered in her home by police after she failed to show up for work.
