reason for selling! i found out the hard way that my chaser has an A341e (yr 2000+) gear box

i would of thought your jzx100 box is the same as jzx90 , jzx100 , aristo a340/341

i have an A341E not A341.... i fitted the valve body and it semi worked but wouldnt engage un till 1200rpm (like a high stall but not) i had it removed to stop it from damaging the box. when i got the gasket replaced on the original valve body it turned out to be an A341E (year 2000 and up)...

also i got it from MV automatics... have receipt...

oh ok, the jzx90's run a a341e as well so it wont fit jzx90 or 100 .. weird that mv auto's didnt realise this when you bought it.

aristo box's are a340LE so sounds like it wont fit them either .. only leaves cressida and jza70 supra, jzz30 soarer boxes.

i would be keen if it fit aristo / jza80 box

will i have changed my mind about the levle of mods that i wont to do and the auto isnt going to cut it. so im ging to do a manual conversion...

No offence to all the auto lovers out there.. the ecu options is the auto chasers Achilles heel in my opinion...

how hard are you going with mods? you could make 400rwhp through the auto, run 11s and find an ecu to suit.

When I got my JZX100 MV shift kit through Mike, he supplied the right one. If he has supplied the wrong one, you should get a refund or atleast swapped for the correct one.

Actually just ripped out my R154 and put an auto in, so much better to drive, but then I am an old carrrnt. :)

chasers should of had more manuals than auto's definatly suit it althogh guess its classed as a jap camry like the aristo

you can convert your a341e to run a kick down cable by using aristo/supra auto box valve body. the main internals of the box is the same but the valve body/ controls are diff...

an aristo / supra has a341 or know also as "le"

all 2j boxes have electronic kick down, 1j's have kickdown cable
