Spinal Cord Damage?

Just got the worst massage of my life in Japan and getting a bit worried. My mid back around the ribs and the upper part of my spinal cord where the spine meets the skull is really sore. If this crazy old lady has damaged my spinal cord would I be paralysed straight away? Or can these things take affect after a couple hours? It`s been at least an hour since she did it still feels sore and not getting any better.

yeah paralysis can take ages. A friend of mine got home from his rugby game and got in the shower and then half his body became paralysed in the shower and that was a few hours after his game too... It wasnt permanent for him but still... go to the doc and get it checked out

Just came back from a local doctor located in a red light district. Did a x-ray on the spot and there`s no broken bones. Apparently it`s just sore, damaged tissue or whatever. Didn`t expect this level of health care in Japan but it was sufficient.
