Do s14 springs fit mx83?

hey
want to lower my daily cressida
problem is the king springs are not even worth the money as they only lower about 25mm.
ive heard s14 springs can fit..is that with stock struts? and does it drop it lower or the same ammount it says it would lower an S14?

Dunno if this helps at all, but would using S14 springs sit the Cressy lower because the S14 has a lighter engine ? Assuming they're the same height or shorter than the Cressy springs ? If they're longer it might work in your favor...

S14 Silvia kerb weight is 1200-1270kg
MX83 Cressida kerb weight is 1550kg

It'll depend where that extra weight is, whether it is the chassis or the motor.
Also depends on springs natural and compressed height (in S14 setup, compared to MX83 setup.

hmm read through nearly all of the pages but there no definitive answer on whether they fit and how they sit. looks like S14 definately fit tho.

au falcons springs fit mx73 wich would be same as 83 , so you might wanna consider those as a option too for a stiffer springrate

ma70 supra front springs/struts fit the rear of a cressy but are outragiously stiff

s14 rear coilovers fit with mods but are an overall longer strut

you can get super lows for the cres they arnt listed but they do make them

The standard king springs lower it fuck all, I used WA suspensions and he hooked me up with Corona springs ,was low enough that tyres scrubbed on full lock,but looked hot so dont care :)
