Yeah JB Hifi has them, you'll have to go to the new one that's upstairs in the new shopping mall if your going to the city.
thanks
JB had the newer cable, i needed the older one.
Will try Jb on leach tomorrow on the way down to harvey, failing that i got no tunes once i get out if radio reception.
Stupid deck i got on the cheap doesn't play cds
Something like this, only plays ipod/memory sticks. All good in theory but i lost the cable

Really?
I have the old one and it doesn't charge my iphone, the new one does and is compatible with previous ipods.
N97, built in FM transmitter. 32 gig. probably the best (only) good feature on the phone haha

^^ WHS sort of.
JB HIFI should sell the FM transmitters for ipods. plug it in and it transmits on the frequency, tune the radio to it and done.

You got it on the cheap because they are shit.
Radio is horrible, Ipod always cuts out and countless others.
DAK DAK had one and he wanted to burn it.

Decks with USB FTW.

+1 i did this, only problem is you have to pull the whole deck out to plug the usb in.
we tried bout 6 different ipods and phones from everyone that was here and none worked. i don't know why because from everything i can work out both should work, only the older cable wont do iphones.

Run a USB extension cable into the glovebox - that's what I have done.
Stupidest thing is Alpine charge $60 for a "genuine" cable, but it is the same as a $5 one from Officeworks/computer shop.

I've been meaning to upgrade my cable to the newer one, if I end up doing it in the next week I'll send you a PM if you want to buy it :)
