So finally getting off my ass and getting my shell scrapped. Only problem is, how do i move it? Needs to be moved to the end of the driveway or verge for sims to come get it. Its up on stands and is a bare shell. Any ideas?

what condition is the 'shell' in?

Do you have access to a pallet trolley or a fork lift? lol

Otherwise wheel dollys and a jack?

Go to bunnings, and buy four little steel dolly wheels, and tech screw them to the bottom of the shell. Hopefully they don't break, i've done it to an old r31 shell and worked ok, aside from being dodgy as fuck :P

Well you've got photographic evidence of it working...

I once welded up some wheels to the Civic shell i gutted, which broke due to a couple uneven bits in the driveway. I ended up pulling the shell out to the front of the house using a rope and 4x4. it wasn't very heavy in the end so it left a bit of a scratch 20 odd metres long but overtime thats now almost non existant.

decent wheels will cost you a fair bit... i went the cheap option as you can guess.

3 copper pine logs (The kind they have sticking out of the ground surrounding parks).

Evenly space them under the shell and start pushing... as each log rolls out from the back, get someone to place it back at the front and keep rolling.

Bit of a cave-man spec thing...but it worked to move a shed once :)

Failing that, scrap timber/nails/cheap casters from Bunnings.

could i borrow that? can pay in alcomohol for troubles!

not keep on leaving scratches on the driveway so something on wheels would be good, might go steal some shopping trolleys. what do shells weigh anyway?

We tried that, left big scratches going down the driveway.
The other time we had to move a wreck we used two large metal rods and slid on that, was easier and saved the driveway somewhat....but did take somewhat longer.

You are welcome to borrow it.. however.. I am in Ballajura so it might be more economical for you to go to your local industrial area get a pallet and then bunnings for the castors and bolts.

But if you want it.. PM me.

was on the side driveway, which was just that pea gravel shit... i just had to rake half it back down the driveway when i was finished, lol.

Agreed with mates idea - put on a carton of piss and invite a bunch of mates over to lift it down, won't take long.

Any chance you can come grab my fairmont wreck Gerrin? Or can recommend someone. Rang about 3 guys so far and everyone of them has been a no-show. Has no wheels, sitting on axle stands in my driveway.
