hey everyone

with my itunes, every time i download an mp3 file via somewhere like limewire, itunes automatically opens up and the file gets added to itunes and then transfers to my iphone. Is there anyway to stop that? if so how?

make windows media player/VLC/etc your default music media player instead of iTunes. open iTunes -> edit -> preferences -> advanced -> deselect "Use iTunes the default player for audio files"
Then when you want to add something you can drag it in as normal. Syncing the iPhone and selecting songs can be done by selecting the option to not sync automatically when the iPhone is connected to the computer. Then whenever you do want to sync it you just press the sync button instead of it doing it itself everytime.

what i mean is the file automatically gets added to itunes. I dont want every mp3 i download to b added on itunes, but as soon as the download is finished it automatically gets added
