Hey Mate,

Just a heads up... Quite a few JB employees have been sacked over re-selling gift cards.

My suggestion to you is to get something in writing from your store manager saying that the gift cards were purchased legitimately before senior management use you as an example to the rest of the chain like they always do to "keep the kids in line" as they say...

I've witnessed it myself on multiple occasions.

Get your PS3 games off of eBay...ridiculousy cheaper for new games (unless you find a killer sale and don't want the game the day it comes out).

Games and software typically don't have much money in them though. eBay works well though because you can get the stock from UK, US or HK where the games are cheaper to start with.

Others use things like PlayAsia I think?

As the game ages - buying it becomes cheaper as suppliers need to move stock - a lot of places get rebates and some just lose a lot of money (eg. Harvey Norman) as they don't like keeping stuff past a certain age on the shelf (age as when from the day they bought the stock - doesn't do well with the figures they want).

My old boss at Harvey's put on a $10 sale once for XBox 360 games on a Saturday as there were games there that passed their movement date. Got rid of pretty much all the games. Lost a shitload of money on them - but made it in laptops, cameras etc.
