Heya guys,

probably time for me to introduce myself,

A few of you may have spotted my car around from time to time, unfortunatley it has been off the road for the past 6 weeks. So i thought i'd spend a bit of time doing my showcase and let everyone see the progress.

Firstly and most importantly, how it was when i purchased it.

stock as a rock bar a veilside kit, had some pretty decent damage that the previous owner had covered up by fitting this kit. - was first on the list to repair.

its now done approx 110,00 km (purchased @ 97,000 2 years ago)
it has a full veilside kit
factory fully optioned :
luxury leather, LSD, fold in mirrors that vibrate to get water off, cruise control, sunroof, drivers airbag, Electronic suspension adjustments - all the bits the crazy japs love about these boats.

(can clicky veiw img for big pics of gay walkinshaw stye wing)

epic slides (from prestige auto's)
anyhow... about a week after i got the car i parked it out front my mates place and the spoiler got crushed.... fk knows mabe just drunko's sitting on the boot.

took it around to my mates and got the boot touched up, new tail light put in and polished up the headlights.

as i was working at Beaurepaires Melville most of the life of this car i managed to get a decent deal on a set of rims, as unfortunatley the ones showen above didnt come with the car i was rolling on some pretty shabby stockies. these are 20 x 8.5 Fronts and 20x10 rear

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e262/Firstround1/92%20Aristo/14102008063.jpg

the next obvious step was to stop it sounding like a vacume cleaner
Twin 2.5" straight through just one compliance cat. some very low profile tips (no milo for me)

We gave it a good detail and took a few happy snaps.

mmm might as well have - sadly i didnt get my Tein HR's in untill after that shoot.

next was a few minor performance mods, i had the exhaust done previously so we fitted a stainless intake with pod, a new FMIC approx 600x300x100 or so, a Profec B -II, Greddy turbo timer, and lastly the SAFC NEO

This dialed in at 12psi for 278 rwhp - nice and rich

the plan was to go TO4 as many have before but keeping it looking good is proving to be a bit of a hassel, next step will hopefully be a respray and then will look for a bit more power.
BTW yes still stock auto no stall and no shift kit :(

Your trying to sell this...so frame of mind is?...

1) Make a showcase thread
2) Accumulate post count
3) In the Classifieds the next day

rahaha that front bar is an inpractical as they come, shamefully i havnt lowered it much more than in the darker pic.

if it was less of a daily (as i hope it will be) the front bar will get some chop chop and it will drop another inch easily

p.s im glad its not. lexus dont have turbo's (badging from prev owner cbf changing)

i had a deposit from someone 4 months ago and still havnt seen another cent, the fact that it is nearly impossible to sell is starting to grow on me - i have a few mates advertising for bullshit ghey prices and still no nibbles.

i dont think getting rid of this car for a lowball figure would help me in the long run and there have been no EOI in months, lets just say im undecided.

as anyone with a brain looking at a 20yr old car as a daily will say. its either one way or another, sell it or bomb it.

i wanna bomb it :P - plus antilag is hillarious who wouldnt wanna be a part of a group of flamers

It's looking good as always Ben sadly there isn't really much of a market out there for modified Aristo's that's the reason I'll rather keep mine then sell it for some bullshit price.

that first black aristo to the right is bloody porn!

Your aristo is in pretty good condition, was looking at a few last night and most of them are raped, good to see a clean one
