anyways, our SONY reseller has a sale on for vaio notebooks..

For a Sony Vaio it's not bad. They tend to be nearly Apple-pricing, but have a pretty good build quality and awesome looks.

May have cost a bit, but by far the best laptop I've ever owned.

yeh its not a bad price, the only reason i say its not that cheap is recently, harvey norman of all places, had a sale on sony vaio's with similar/slightly better specs then the one posted with core processors (i3 though) for around the $1300-1400 mark. those particular ones were made to order too as they had custom covers etc.

i used a vaio a while back too, (old one but still good!) awsm computer, dopped it heaps and then the cover broke, put it back together and still works, but i gota mac now, best ever lol
