Watched it all and cant say Im surprised, as this has happened all over the world at some stage during war.
Germany, America, Russia, just to name a few
Auschwitz!! Germanys most famous concentration camp killed MILLIONS of Jewish people alone
America experimented with amphetamines and torture
Russia had their own death cells (Experimenting with their own strains of germ warfare)

I dont agree with what happened but it definately DID happen

Not all people were Jews. A lot of Polish people were in there just because. There was a house for each race - Polish, Hungarian etc. By religion, most were Jewish. The atrocities there were huge...having traveled there, there is definitely a different atmosphere when you walk in.

Will try watch the posted video later today.

Does this video involve human suffering or torture of any kind?
I'm not game enough to open it and find out the hard way.

My mate just got back from Germany. One thing that shocked him was that alot of Germans dont belive about the concentration camps.

He got kicked off a tour of one of the rivers because while the tour was going down the Rien river *spelling* the girl doing the tour was going on and on about how bad the english and americans were for destroying all there old biuldings in the bombings. My mate said " What about the blitz on england and what about the holocaust. She had the nerve to say the holocaust didnt happen!!!!

Mate of mine went on a bus cruise through Germany when he went thru Europe last year. The instructor said; "Does anyone know Germany's favourite sport?" No one answered so the instructor said; "Conquering the Polish."

lol

Apparently the students there don't get taught about Hitler and the Holocaust as Germany is so embarrassed by it?

They might not get taught about it, but when I was in Berlin last year they showed us a massive Jewish Holocaust monument in the city, so its not like its completely hidden and never talked about.

Keen to see when I get home from work.

Having been to Auschwitz-Birkenau myself, that place is quite creepy! You sense some bad shit as soon as you walk in. I went for a three hour guided tour there, quite interesting. They got a lot of real stuff there, like tons of human hair (used to make fabric for bags, clothes etc), shoes, bags, personal effects etc. Tons of people went through the camp, the lucky ones were gassed on arrival, the unlucky ones got to stay there. Their furnaces couldn't keep up with burning the bodies, so they dug up a few holes and burned the excess there. Their accommodation was shocking. There was heaps of info there about all sorts of experiments conducted there on people, including kids! Authentic pictures of the experiment results and so on. Couldn't take any photos while inside the buildings in Auschwitz (outside ok), but I was lucky to snap some inside the accommodation blocks in Birkenau next door, those were much worse.

Each 'bed' had about 8 people sleeping on it. Not enough bathroom facilities and bad nutrition meant that if you were sick and puked/shat/pissed yourself, you'd share it with everybody else in your bunk and below, gross!

Tiny 'bathroom' on each end of the block.

Tiny heater for winter, wasn't enough.

Truly terrible stuff in that. My wife is jewish and her grandfather who is a polish jew spent time in Auschwitz and actually survived it then migrated to Australia. He struggles to speak about it even to this day and we dont mention it to him for obvious reasons. Germans need a reality check.

Unti 731 is probably, with all due respect, harsher than anything that took place in auschwitz.

Unit 731 is the notorious Japanese version that was so successful its existence has been mostly overlooked.

OK so I managed to sit through about half of the video.
I'm assuming this is what the movie "Men Behind the Sun" was based on?

I will never be able to comprehend how someone can do these things to another human being. I don't think I want to comprehend it either.

Damn, indeed they did some real bad shit.

Yeah, dunno how another human being can actually do such things...

That is almost unbelieveable, truely cant understand that ppl can do that to one another.

One wonders if things like this cease to exist or are still current and if so to what extent...

meh video wasnt particularly disgusting, i work in operating theatres every day and see far more gory stuff than that.

As shocking and inhumane as many of the medical experiments that have been carried out through war times have been, they have provided us with invaluable medical knowledge which has probably been responsible for saving hundreds of thousands of more lives than the original experiments cost.

Yeah wasn't as bad as I expected, I don't get upset over that stuff for some reason, if it was an animal going through the same monstrosities I wouldn't be able to watch it.

Just watched it. Nothing that horrific in the actual video, pretty much said everything that's contained in the wikipedia article.

Not surprising how they were all given immunity from prosecution in return for all research results...
