Read this series a few times, Excellent australian fiction.

would like to know peoples thoughts on it and maybe a few biased, pre-screening reviews?

We got made to read these in early high school, was a good read though.

Movie looks like they've added tits, could be good...

I too had to read this book for school back in the day, From what I remember it was good, cant wait for the movie to come out :D

September is apparently the release date, haven't looked too much further into it.
The book series was great, but I just hope the movie does it justice.

how do you think they'll plan the movies?
1 book to 1 movie? or compress a few into 1 movie at once?

Hopefully they do it 1 movie per book, and do justice to it.

There is a remake of Red Dawn coming out too. Chinese as the baddies. ^^^ same same except that Aussie movies more often than not, suck.

yeah, when ellie got knobbed by that lanky Lee character! haha
and i can guarantee i wasnt the only person to read over it a few times.

great series, brings back memories :)

although id be interested to see how they squash a decent length novel series into a couple of hours for the big screen.

will watch for sure

Read the books in Highschool. Have them all sittign on my bookshelf. Keen to Reread. I hope the movies do book justice, but will prob be shit.

when saw the trailer at movies thought what the hell this is a remake of red dawn (watched not long ago on ch72) but as australia as the backdrop never even heard of these books must of been to exxy for my school to buy haha.

will give it a watch same as the remake of red dawn
