Pictures not loading issue

I have been having this issue with my PC

- Google not loading up
- Then if google does load up, you go to google image search, search an image. You see the results but none of the thumbnails display?
- Go to 4chan, you can see the thumbnail boxes but not the actual picture, you need to click on the box to see what the picture is (have had some nasty surprises so far)
- Yahoo image search is the same, results show but the thumbnails do not.

I formatted my PC, this fixed the issue for about a day.. Now I am back to the same issue again

Browsing on SAU/Here/Facebook I have no issues

anyone else experiencing this or can think of a solution? I am running XP and have tried using IE and Google chrome with no luck

if your formatted and its done it again, id be looking at what u installed after the format, anything that tries to restrict shit, 3rd party firewalls etc.


edit: have seen nortons add blocker do something similar
