Gday all ive got a series 2 rx7 and am currently playing with idea of a wide body kit anyways just wondering whats the legalities if any1 knows of wheel size on the streets ect and can abnormally wide wheels be permitted and the like, for the kit ive seen allows you to run with upto 11"x16" tyres and dramatically changes look of car.

the kit is called GTO-1 and is made by mariah motorsports in the states

I'd suspect you may need permits/engineers to go that big. In theory as long as the wheels are under the guards it should be ok. I also understand that what can cause more of an issue is the difference in width between front and rear wheels. There's probably someone out there that knows better than me though.

wheel track on any vehicle can not be more then 25mm from factory and with the wheel size u r legally allowed to go 2" over standard
