Hey all,

Just bought a bunky 1990 Mazda 626, and was wondering if anyone had some tips or wanted to come and help fix : ))

Problem: Passenger side window won't go back up (will only go down)
From the master drivers side controller, I can't make it go up or down
From the passenger side controller, I can only make it go down

Have checked the P/W fuse and it's all good..
I guess next step is to check both passenger and drivers side controllers and wiring loom for good grounds etc?

With rain approaching would really like to get crackin on this haha.. will try some mazda forms also

Cheers all!

try a new switch, or maybe take ya door trim off and spay contact cleaner on all the connections. Try hold the glass and pulling it up whilst somone pushes on the button to make it go up. Maybe when u have a look with the door trim off. To see if it is still on the regulator.

as mentioned try and clean up the passenger side switch, or swap it with one of the rear door switches if possible.
sounds like switch for sure, but those GD 626s are notorious for motor + regulator problems, thankful for my bunky GD having manual winders.

let me know if you have probs, could prob come out and take a look

cheers for the advice dudes.. I'm retarded and in actual fact, the master controller wasnt working for any of the front windows, so i took it apart and sprayed contact cleaner on it, and now all windows work.

Thanks all!
