I hate the wet, after you get over the initial OMG SKIDDZZZZ (ie; when you're 17) the un-intended loss of traction gets old fast

you need to be very careful with an s15 in the wet

I think because the car is so light in the rear it can flick out very easily when you put power down.

you can manage it with experience but it is not what I'd call fun, simply because of the number of s15s i've seen written off since I got mine.

seduction, ur obviously young and there for stupid!
Skids in wet= fuck all. no noise, smoke and usually no marks. might aswell just sit in driveway with car in neutral and rev it for same hard on effect.
Drift in wet is shit its not drift its tank slapping and general complete lack of control of car just hoping ur momentum doesnt put u into a curb or other inanimate object.
Understeer- GTFO!

wet roads are fuct, every1 suddenly shits themselves and does 10km under the speed limit and thinks this suddenly makes them a safe wet weather driver despite the fact they still tailgate, dont indicate, cut ppl off and stop at light 20cm of the car infronts bumper.

also the terrifying experience you have when you are sitting at a stop sign or roundabout and you can hear some muppet with wheels locked up behind you and you just sit there hoping the crunch doesn't come

fair call on that one. ill defo keep that in mind.
but i mean i wont kno untill i get the car and get the feel for it in the wet.
which will be soon hopefully.

You were once young and stupid, its a stage we all go through, and just because i post stuff like that dosn't mean im out doing it.

i have a AWD car which makes it hard to do the skid part and drift part...
this thread was mainly about the prefrence of other drivers... wet or dry roads.

i only added the skid, drift and Understeer part [which was a joke...] to start off the thread.

this was just a pure bordom thread..
not a schooling on youth and stupidity. :)

BUT, i have to totally agree with you on the lower part of your quote.

Guy out the front of my place last night decided to drop his auto Falcon into D. Spun with the outside of one wheel on the curb one on the road. Hope his left rear tyre is now fucked.
