Good score Wayne, should go well :) If and when you feel like turfing the CA, let me know... Astra could do with some CA love.

Ah ok cool, only problem is that I'd need a loom and ECU too... I'm in no rush, got no cash at the moment anyway :p

If you're gonna go for a RB20 why not RB25? i know its abit more expensive but they are basically the same size and its just easy power plus way more bottom end.

nice score, besides where the spoiler used to be the rest of the body panels look pretty straight, cant really complain at that price.

rubbing where on the struts ? nthing some slip on 10mm spacers cant fit or on the top of the strut ?
mite be the massive tyres you got on it, need some smaller profile and some stretch.

Got the gear box out today just have to take the motor out tomorrow. it has turned into more of a project now as i keep finding bits I'm not happy with and want to change. on the list tomorrow is remove motor dash and wiring loom. if weather permits gonna paint the roof and new front bar. also has a 3inch cat back on it now. will hopefully be running again tomorrow or Tuesday see how much motivation i have.

the 2 last pics are the s13 wreck i got for the manual stuff it was front smashed so no i didn't sil80 it got the free veil side front bar that was up a few days ago for it. the veil side has less damage than my standard bar so was good. the mags on the wreck are s12 gazelle rims came on it and the sr will be coming down the track once i can afford the half cut. also forgot to say am getting some sr front brakes hopefully next week. here's a pic of the front rested on the 180. i know people don't like the veil side front but it is alot better than old bumper that was falling apart.

The plan is a type x kit in a few months when i have more $$ as i just started a new job Friday earning a bit more :)

vsstato

until i have more $$ in the bank its staying ca18det as its main use is work and back but 90% sure I'm going the sr20 down the track.

CA is a good little powerhouse. Rob a few things off other motors ( RB26 injectors, rb20 afm, t28, or even a t25g) and they go pretty well, and respond good, with the good sound.

Nistune do ECUs, or if you like wiring even an Emanage do really well, I had some great success with my one on the CA.

x2.. sell it to some rice boy in his wannabe drift car and chuck a stock bar back on it, they look better anyway.

$2500K leaves a bit of room for some money to be spent on this thing :)

if im gonna spend $$ on a bar ill get type x gear just trying to get it running again. the front bar was all cracked and falling apart hence why i grab that one for free.

I reckon those bars would look ok if it wasn't for its double chin it has going on... The lines of the top part are pretty neat, and free is a good price too. But honestly stock CA front bar on a clean 180 will look better.
