Stolen from mates house in freo between midnight and this morning.
House has a deadbolt so pretty sure keys were not taken.
Call Jai on 0410 886 886 if seen.
This car would be VERY HARD to miss on the road!

part of the VIN i'm pretty sure. where did your stuff get stolen from??
how would they have stolen it without the key... tilt tray?
pieces of shit that steal/ruin people's hard earned posessions should be shot.

definately not possible for these cars to be stolen without keyfob with all the canbus
in regards to his number plate it states in his thread on ls1
Its one of those plates you cant quite remember from "the commodore that just flew past me".
Also happens to be the internal Holden Model number of the car (whack a VE on the front of the plate and youve got it.).
Just something random i guess!

Keypad immobiliser.
It's not nice to hear, but no sympathy for anyone who gets their car stolen these days (unless it's loaded on a tow-truck).
I've suggested group buys, cheap install rates, everything. It will cost you $100 or so at most, and ensures nobody can break into your house, steal your keys, and steal your car...
I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't have one.

I had kill switch installed in my ute cost me $80 so even if they some how get hold of my keys they can't take the ute unless they find the switch. Told my insurance when I had it installed and it reduced my premium by about $150 so got my money back for it :)

like he said it's not going to stop someone with a flatbed, or enough time
but the opportunistic thief moves quickly, slow them down and they are more likely to take off empty handed or with the easiest thing to grab like gps or radar detector.
it is a lesson I learned when a crack head broke into my first car, they tried to hot wire it but the carby was a bit stuffed at the time and you had to use the manual choke to start it so they just took off with my head unit
cop came by and offered 3 useful tips:
- kill switch
- flashing light ($5 led from jaycar makes them think twice)
- if you leave the car and you are going on holiday or something then disconnect the coil from the dizzy
obviously now we've moved on and every car has an immobilisor with a flashing light and they take a lot longer to hotwire. so they take your keys.
I say bring back the kill switch. And if you have a slide in head unit try and put a back strap on it, if you have audio gear consider how well you have it secured, if you slow them down you are more likely to keep it.

Best vehicle theft deterrent of you're going on holiday - remove the ECU if possible.
But yeah, if someone is that determined to steal it, they will unfortunately find a way.

im not saying i didnt make a mistake..they should have been in my pocket
if you ever been on a house site youll realise 98% of the tradies out there leave their keys in easy acess if not in the fucking barrel with their wallet on the dash.
the guy who stole them stalked my car for two days before stealing it also. that was the only time ive ever put them anywhere besides in my pocket and it wasnt an easy spot, it was 7 foot high at the top of a stair way. which he then waited at the window until i was in the next room and ran in and grabbed them, started the car before he got in and then off he went.
im just saying..if u got a nice car, and you go out..maybe leave the keys somewhere safe or hidden, less chance of your car aka pride and joy becoming an easy get away and then a burnt out shell.
