Tax write off on utes?

Been looking into getting a work horse and the old tax write off came to mind, Not a qualified tradie and do not have an abn, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Get an ABN. Pay enough tax to make it worth while. Keep receipts. Accountant does the rest really.

dpends what you do for a living and how much you use it for work. (keeping in mind that driving to and from work doesn't count)

used to spend all day driving from appointment to appointment and claimed back about 9k worth of vehicle expenses for my 180sx including fuel, insurance, servicing and repairs (r32 brakes count as repairs if your stockers have blown a seal :P )
