Just recently ive formated my computer due to having a few nasty viruses.
Now ive re-installed most of my gear but im having problems installing my Printer (it's one of those Printer/Fax/Copy ones) The brand is EPSON CX9300F.
It comes up to the screen of connecting the printer to the PC. After a 'Please wait' it sais "OK , The Product can be regonised.... Please Wait"
Then after a few minutes it sais " Product not reconised " and shows pictures of taking all the cables out and then turning off and putting it all back on.
Ive done all that and it still wont connect. The printer was working perfectly before I formated the computer.
Any ideas on what I should do next?

Google search for "EPSON CX9300F Drivers"
Download appropriate drivers for your operating system.
Install them and then reconnect the printer.
That should sort it.

Download the drivers from the Epson website or use the CD that came with the printer.

Ive already got the drivers on my disk, and It's what im using for the installer. That's why im sort of confused to why its not working.

Right click on my computer and click manage, open device manager.
See if there is anything on there thats showing with a yellow warning !
Sounds like maybe your USB port drivers aren't installed causing it to not recognise the printer.

You talking about UAC? (User Account Control)
If so, go to RUN (windows key +r) and type in 'msconfig'
Then go to the Tools menu, and launch the tool called "Change UAC Settings." Make that go all the way to the bottom, or turn it off, hit okay, apply, okay... restart your computer and fun!
Actually I just found out it's slightly different for vista, i'm on 7.
http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm
Launch MSCONFIG by from the Run menu.
Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find "Disable UAC" . Click on that line.http://www.petri.co.il/images/disable_uac_1.gif
Press the Launch button.
A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.
Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply. You can re-enable UAC by selecting the "Enable UAC" line and then clicking on the Launch button.

Yes you have the driver on the cd you have but it will not be the latest driver, try downloading that and try again.
