93 Mazda 626 Reving weird + white smoke from exhaust

missus bro's car ...

started reving weird .... be at lights on idle and it will jump up to 2k then drop to like 500 then back up to 2k ... and started blowing smoke ... thought it was because him and hsi makes dumped a fuck load of oil in it on weekend so dropped that and replaced with correct amount and new filter yesterday for him but still reving weird and started blowing smoke again today

not sure on white smoke causing the hunting idle but TPS does not sound happy or it has been fucked with. Does it have a idle control motor as well?

with the guy over filling the engine, the oil would of gone through the exhaust and soaked the cat converter..

just driving it around all day and with dry out
