You can build one for far cheaper.
I picked up a Fully caged cart with electrics (custom built) with a GX240 strapped to the back with a centrifugal clutch for $950.
Far better Go Karts for cheaper.
Also, if you're planning on leaving the pavement, you'll need shocks. Your ass and back will thank me later

I've still got it.
Driven it once, smoked the clutch. Torque converter is on its way from america.
No shocks ( :( ). But Have buggy shocks ready awaiting the transformation of the front end.
Unfortunatly, I want to do the suspension and drive it before I want to sell it :(.
Sorry mang!
Get some plans from Edge racing. They've got some cool stuff if you're unsure :)

ok here we go. Started it up (didnt take much), was a bit rough then cleared and started revving up really freely. Oil leak is a bit worse than i thought but it has a pretty large oil tank. Brakes are on the dodgy side as it has been sitting for about a year or so. fair bit of surface rust but could be wire brushed out and painted over
