I have no idea where to look to get this information so I thought I'd post the question up on here.
Basically work seems to be quiet at the moment so I was going to advertise my services by doing mail drops in peoples letterboxes advertising to supplying and installing the product that the company I currently contract for sell.
In the leaflet ive mocked up, I've got pictures showing installations ive done using their product. Am I actually allowed to have these displayed or could they take legal action against me showing them ?

AFAIK no they can't take legal action being that the photo is owned by you. Unless you're making money off the actual photo itself, there shouldn't be a problem.
It wouldn't hurt to run it by them though.

Just out of curiosity, are you an employee or a contractor to your work?
Are you advertising for yourself or for your work?

So long as you took the images yourself and is showing no corporate branding, peoples faces or street addresses, it will be fine.

Once they have sold the product they don't own it anymore anyways? so I don't see how it would be an issue?

Correct. Just be careful but, as you are contracted and not an employee, make no mention of the business you are contracted for in the leaflet, as technically you don't work for them.

I don't see why it would be a problem, you are advertising their product.. If you were bad mouthing a product and showing their logo that's where you could get into trouble.
I would run it past them just to cover your ass tho.
