Random Police escort on Roe Hwy tonight

About 10 minutes ago, heading home from cinema heading North on Roe Hwy just South of Kalamunda Rd lights, there were two marked police cars with lights flashing escorting at low speed a tilt tray loaded what looked like a 4WD completely wrapped up in a tarp with rope. Doing 60 or less, cop car in front, and one behind.

Any idea's, one of the most random things I've seen on the road?

Its what major crime has been working on all day just off the side of tonkin hwy.
It was driven into the bushes and torched with two occupants in side. They had tonkin south bound close most of the day.
More than likely they are escorting it back to forensics.

was sitting at the lights to head into forrestfield, blocked off road.. Channel 10 car comes along, just gets out of his car and moves witches hats out of the way and goes to get in his car to drive down. One of the WORKS road crew saw him doing it and came down and blocked him off and what appeared to be mouthed words when he got out "FUCK OFF" lol
