A very special day for me and everyone who enjoys the freedoms these people have fought for over the last century.

Is there anyone here making the early rise and getting out to a dawn service? For those who don't; have a think about & be grateful for those who have fought, the sacrifices they have made & the lives they had to pay with.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Dont guilt me because I dont wanna get up at the crack of dawn, I can still be grateful and respectful for all that shit without getting up early.
I marched plenty and stood for dawn service when I was an army cadet so now I can sleep in.

Will go have a couple beers at Kings Park to show our respects...

I am Polish and obviously our War history is shit. Only recently have I thought ANZAC Day is something worthwhile as I do have freedom and live in a great country. It has always been a source of grief for my family.

Something we would rather forget... It is hard when pretty much your whole family is wiped out by a war. It's like the anniversary of a loved one. You remember, but they are never great times.

Thank you to everyone who has made my life in Australia possible.
